- Childlineis part of the NSPCC and helps children and young people (under 19) by providing a free and confidential service to talk about anything, whatever the worry. They have a chat service, an email address and their helpline number is 0800 1111.
- Internet Mattersis supported by industry partners like BT, Sky, TalkTalks, Google and the BBC and offers the best advice and information available on tackling online safety issues. It empowers parents and carers to keep children safe in a digital world. Has lots of information and tips about all sorts of internet matters, including online grooming.
- The Lucy Faithfull Foundationis the only UK-wide child protection charity dedicated solely to preventing child sexual abuse. They have a helpline called the Stop It Now! Helpline – 0808 1000 900.
- Victim Supportis for all those affected by crime who need support to move forward. They have a free Supportline to call – 08081689111

- NHS provide comprehensive help and information on the symptoms, causes and treatments for stroke.
